Dan Campbell

Dan is a General Partner at MSouth Equity Partners in Fund IV which raised $940 million and has $2.3 billion across four funds. In his role as Partner, he is actively engaged in Medix which is a leading provider of healthcare staffing in the U.S. Prior to joining MSouth, Mr. Campbell was CEO of Hire Dynamics, a leading commercial staffing company he co-founded in 2001 and remained as Executive Chairman until the business was sold In November 2021 to EmployBridge / Apollo. Hire Dynamics generated $500 million in revenue out of its 50 offices. Prior to founding Hire Dynamics, Dan was the CEO of an award-winning staffing company based in Los Angeles, California. Previous roles also include Director of Business Planning for AHL Services and an investment banker in the Corporate Finance Group of Price Waterhouse.

Dan served on the Board of the American Staffing Association (ASA) for 10 years including serving as past Chairman and a member of the Staffing Industry Hall of Fame by Staffing Industry Analysts. Within the staffing industry, he is an active investor and advisor for RefAssured and Glyde and was an investor and advisor until the successful exits of both Work N and Clearly Rated.

Dan is engaged within the Young President’s Organization (YPO) Southern Seven Chapter including serving as a past Chairman and is an active member of Tiger 21. Dan graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BBA from Millsaps College. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Holy Innocents Episcopal School (HIES). Dan previously served on the Board of Advisors for the Else School of Management at Millsaps College. Over the years, he has also been engaged in Junior Achievement and an advisor to the 3DE Program.

Dan lives in Atlanta and is married to Christy with two boys: Emmett (17) and Andrew (15).

B.J. Hoffman is a tax partner and leader of the Professional Services Industry Practice with over 25 years of experience in the areas of audit, tax, and litigation support. He serves clients in a wide range of industries, including closely held entities in staffing, health care, and franchising, as well as law firms.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, B.J. spent 19 years with two regional accounting firms.

As a tax specialist and CFE, B.J. counsels clients with a range of strategies, including detailed year-end multi-jurisdictional planning, which helps clients reduce income tax exposure. He also devotes a substantial amount of time to the area of trust and estate income taxation, as well as international taxation.

B.J.’s practice often goes beyond tax and audit work to include looking for fraud, waste, and abuse in order to improve his clients’ profitability. As a Certified Fraud Examiner, B.J. provides litigation support and forensic expertise to law firms.

Toby Malara is Vice President of Government Affairs for the American Staffing Association. In his role, Malara directs ASA’s government relations, lobbying, and political activities, including the operations of the associations’ political action committee, StaffingPAC. He also advises members on immigration/I-9, paid sick leave, sales tax, and per diem issues. Malara graduated from Georgetown University and earned a J.D. from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University.
